🌸 I am waiting on the return of 4 recent Reading Comprehensions and 6 of the small quiz on the Double Bar Graph. Thank you.
🌸 Math: Students are to practice their x2, x4, x8, x3, x6, x10, x5, x9, x7math facts (multiplication) for 10 minutes. Parents can assist their child using dice, cards, etc.
Over the next few weeks, we will be exploring the "Estimation" and "Diagramme à bandes double" outcomes. (N1 outcomes will be reviewed, at various times, throughout the year.)
Here are the SP2 outcomes that we are examining over the next few weeks:
SP2 - Construct and interpret double bar graphs to draw conclusions.
SP2a)Represent a set of data by creating a double bar graph without technology, including appropriate
title, axis headings, scales, legend, and pairs of bars separate from other pairs
SP2b) Draw conclusions from double bar graphs to answer questions
SP2c) Solve problems by constructing and interpreting double bar graphs
*We are now working on our Double Bar Graph projects on the SP1 and SP2 outcomes. All work is being done at school.

In addition, we are continuing to look at Estimation Strategies such as rounding to the nearest specific place value (i.e. 357 083 arrondi à l'unité de mille près devient 357 000).
🌸 "Carnet French Reading": For the period of Nov. 28th - Dec. 4th, there should be a total of 5 readings of 15 minutes done over 5 different days (see the short explanation on the right under "Items of note".) Carnet needs to be handed in completed on Monday, December 5th . Thank you
🌸 Sciences humaines: "L'archéologie". Students should be reviewing their notes in anticipation for Wednesday's (tomorrow's) Archeology assessment (summative). See under Evaluations for the outline of what will be on the test.
