🌸 Thank you for the return of most of the "Student Data Collection" sheets; still waiting on 2.
🌸 Math: Students are to practice their x2, x4, x8, x3, and x6 math facts (multiplication) for 10 minutes. Parents can assist their child using dice, cards, etc.
🌸 "Carnet French Reading": For the period of Sept. 19th - 25th, there should be a total of 5 readings of 15 minutes done over 5 different days (see the short explanation on the right under "Items of note"; a clearer explanation can be found in your Parent Package that you received Monday). Carnet needs to be handed in completed on Monday, Sept. 26th. I am waiting on the return of 2 carnets. Thank you.
🌸 Scholastic order forms were handed out last week. For those wishing to place orders, please have your forms completed and money in by Sept. 22nd. Thank you!
🌸 Étude de mots: Students chose their first 5 words today from their individualized lists. For homework, they are to make their 5 words using "letters" i.e. you could cut up letters, you could write them out with stencils, you could paint them, you could use magnetic letters, etc... - just a fun way to write out your words. The weekly Spelling Test will be Friday. (Making words with "letters" is our Monday word work activity.)
