🌸 Walkathon Fundraiser baggies handed in on Wednesday, were returned to students this afternoon in case more pledges come in. The ones that have been handed in after Wednesday are being stored safely until next collection date.

- Collected weather data: This assignment was due on Tuesday of this week. For students who have not completed their 10 entries, they will continue recording each day (including weekends now), until the 10 daily entries are done and then pass it in. Thank you. I am still waiting on the return of 4.

🌸 Math: Students are to practice their x2, x4, x8, x3, x6, x10, x5, x9, x7math facts (multiplication) for 10 minutes. Parents can assist their child using dice, cards, etc.

N1a: "Read and write whole numbers to 1 000 000."
N1b: "Describe personal referents for large benchmark numbers (100, 1000, 10 000, 100 000, 250 000, 500 000, 750 000, 1 000 000)."
N1c: "Flexibly express numbers in a variety of ways, including expanded notation."
N1d: "Describe the value of number digits and the pattern of place value."
Today's specific math homework: none for the weekend, unless parents feel a review of above concepts is necessary
🌸 "Carnet French Reading": For the period of Oct. 17th - 23rd , there should be a total of 5 readings of 15 minutes done over 5 different days (see the short explanation on the right under "Items of note".) Carnet needs to be handed in completed on Monday, October 24th. Thank you.
