🌸 Get signed 1 - results of math project and 2 - French inferencing assessment.
🌸 All library books must be returned by this Thursday.
🌸 I am waiting on the return of 3 envelopes with comment forms; 3 reviewed and signed summative assessments: "Les statistiques"; and results of math project with the Double Bar graph. Thank you to all who have already turned theirs in.
🌸 Math: We are now exploring "Estimation" outcomes and we are well into our "Spending Project" using estimation strategies.
Here are the N2 outcomes that we are examining over the next few weeks:
N2a) Use compatible numbers to estimate a sum or product in a variety of contexts, including those in which overestimating is important.
N2b) Use compensation to estimate the solution to a problems with a variety of context, including those in which overestimating is important.
N2c) Use front-end rounding to estimate in a variety of contexts and all four operations, including those in which overestimating is important.
N2d) Select and use an efficient estimation strategy for a given problem (including but not limited to compatible numbers, compensation, and front-end rounding).
Today's specific math homework: none, unless review of strategies is needed
🌸 "Carnet French Reading": none before Chritmas break unless required to stay in during a few recesses to catch up on missing readings.
🌸 Social Studies: "Ancient Societies - La Nubie". Ongoing
